Message from the Coalition

Hello Highway User,

A core mission of the Nevada Highway Users Coalition is to educate the public on the deficiencies in our existing transportation infrastructure funding and the looming crisis we face if Nevada doesn’t address this problem now.

Essential to this education effort is the advertising campaign we launched this week both in Washoe and Clark counties. The campaign utilizes billboards, radio, television and Internet advertising and is based on research conducted over the last 3 months to define subject matter and delivery.

This advertising campaign is designed to heighten awareness and drive people to the Nevada Highway Users Coalition Web site, where they can learn some essential facts about our transportation infrastructure and what needs to be done.

The fixNVroads.com website has been updated with all components of the advertising campaign, including the television and radio. To the right are all the various billboard executions that you should see as you are driving around the Reno and Las Vegas areas. Please visit the site to hear the radio and view the television at your convenience on your computer.

After this campaign concludes in early March, we plan to evaluate its effectiveness through additional research, and we will report back the findings.

Safe travels,
Nevada Highway Users Coalition
